This epic duo will be performing one New Zealand show only at Vogue Lounge in Auckland City on Friday 6th December as part of their Australasia Tour
DJ SIMZ (UK) – Kenyan born, West London raised – DJ Simz took the internet by storm in 2020 as she began her career with short form of mixing songs from Hip Hop, RnB and Afrobeats into big Desi anthems. At the age of 17, DJ
Simz built her fanbase during the pandemic, which would then translate to the clubs and private events around the world. Once the pandemic ended, DJ Simz accumulated over 600 million views across all platforms and has over 600k followers.
DJ Simz has performed all over the UK, India, Dubai, Kenya and the USA. She now also co-hosts her own podcast show – The culture podcast with DJ Limelight.
DJ Limelight (UK) – With a career spanning over 20 years, DJ Limelight has collaborated with some of the biggest Hip-Hop artists around the world, as well as some of the biggest Desi artists emerging globally. Having joined BBC Radio in 2007, DJ Limelight has released over 100 mixtapes and sold over 500k units.
On the BBC, Limelight interviewed some of the biggest global artists such as Drake, Pop Smoke, Badshah, Niki Minaj and many more.
In 2024 DJ Limelight now manages and nurtures new talent.
