Invercargill Drama Academy (IDA) presents their senior production for 2025, Lights Out. After a civil and mutual separation, Dom and Olive decide to throw a divorce party with their family and friends. But the celebration quickly unravels when one of the guests is found dead, and the evidence suggests that the murderer is still among them. French detective Jean Dubois, alongside his enthusiastic niece Reagan, is called in to crack the case. Inspired by Agatha Christie’s timeless murder mysteries, Lights Out invites audiences to follow Dubois’ investigation and see if they can uncover the culprit before the final reveal.

The IDA Senior Cohort of 2025 has devised this original, full-length play as part of their acting course.
