Nadia Reid returns home to Aotearoa this December, following a busy year touring the UK, including performances at Glastonbury and Wales’ beloved Green Man Festival. Her fourth album, Enter Now Brightness (Chrysalis, February 2025), has left its mark on the charts in both New Zealand and the UK, and she brings it to life on stage with the full band who recorded it: Tom Healy, Sam Taylor, Richie Pickard, and Joe McCallum.
“I’m beyond excited to have these handpicked support acts join me on this tour,” says Reid.
“They are some of my favourite musicians and all people I look up to. This addition will really add to the evening. I can’t wait.”
Reid shares the stage with some of the country’s finest contemporary acts. The Broken Heartbreakers bring their warm, tactile folk-pop to Christchurch and Dunedin. SJD, one of Aotearoa’s most celebrated songwriters and the recipient of two Aotearoa Music Awards and the 2013 Taite Music Prize (Elastic Wasteland), opens for Reid in Auckland. In Wellington, Anthonie Tonnon, Taite Music Prize winner, presents a live solo show blending influences
from dance culture, cinema, and the Situationist movement.
Reid’s December tour offers an unmissable opportunity to hear her songs live, alongside some of New Zealand’s most resonant voices.
